I don't want to access clipboard through other application. If you go to
windows XP installed drive,Windows foldes, System32, clipbrd.exe can be
accessed.
But i"m not able to find anything like that in Vista. There should be
someway to, access clipboard alone, without the help of other application.
Is there any change of term for clipboard in Vista?

Maybe you want the snipping tool - ask Help about " snipping tool ",
click the second hit - "Use snipping tool to capture screen shots,"
scroll down and click "To capture a snip," click "Click to open snipping
tool."

I never found that useful, as it could only save in its own special format.
It's gone in Vista, but there are a few replacements on this page that you
may like to try.
Thanks Michael. But that's not the thing i need.
Is it possibel to see "Clipboard Viewer" in Vista?

I have been following this thread and trying to remember what I learned
about this during TechBeta. It is in the back of my mind that the Vista
team felt there was a security risk involving viewing the clipboard. I have
gone back and reviewed some of the likelier beta chat transcripts where that
might have appeared. I can't find it but I will take a look as time permits
to see if that appeared as an OT point in a chat on a different feature. In
the meantime I suggest you take a look at the Vista Team Blogs. You can
interact with the team through those blogs. You would ask a the shell team
member.

Run a search on 'clipbrd.exe'.. when found, double click it.. an error
message will appear.. ok it and clipboard viewer will appear.. if you have
anything in clipboard, it will show as a minimized icon..

Sadly, the software has now been removed from that site. To answer an earlier
question ("why would you want the clipboard viewer?"), I need it to address
another problem with all versions of Windows: occasional "persistence" of the
clipboard contents. That is, you copy and paste something, and the next time
you try to paste, you're getting the previous paste contents. The only way
around this used to be to view and manually clear the clipboard contents. If
Vista has dropped the viewer, how do I get around this bug?
