Vista and MDAC

I want some help with adding MDAC in Windows Vista. How can I add this by default. I am unable to find any proper solution here. I tried ample of website on web but everything just gives explanation on it. There is no process available that can tell me or guide me with the appropriate setup. Which would be extremely helpful to me. Does it comes pre-installed in newer systems. If yes then how to find the version.
