5744 - A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing.

I KEEP getting this trying to install under VMWare - never had an issue with
earlier releases - hey, the thing will boot from the CD image, and if I boot
into a earlier release, can see the ISO image - this is the first time with
this error. How do I get past this??
