Vista rc2 - Media Player 11 Error "com surrogate has stopped worki

Hi,

Windows Media Player 11 causes this Error...
"com surrogate has stopped working" !

Any Help would be Great !

got the same thing just restart wmp and bug it too

Same problem to me... have to open my videos in other player and close
folder. mabe someone knows how to fix it?

If you have Nero that is the cause. I uninstalled it and problem gone. I
installed it on fresh install of Vista and problem was back. I uninstalled it
and problem gone. In the time being I am useing Ashampoo Burning software.
Works great and no Com Surrogate stopped working.

Hi All
I think i have found the soloution after i 1st installed vista i installed the 1st codec pack i got my hands on maybe like a few of you out there.
If you uninstall it and then download the latest 1 from div-x version 6.5...

There you go and then it should all be ok please let me know if yo uhave any problems. i have nero installed and everything is running fine.
