Vista 5270 and runaway RACAgent.exe

I am having a Windows Vista system here. I am trying to install vmware on the same. I do not want to dual boot my pc by installing xp on the same. So I thought installing the same on Vmware will be more appropriate. But there is a problem with racagent.exe. The exe file is just eating 90% of my cpu power. I went on the web and find out about the application. I found the exe file is associated with reliability agent. I have to manually kill the process everytime but still it starts back again. How to stop the same permanently.

Hmm.. it could be Windows Defender or the Indexing Service. I found this post that Josh from WindowsConnected had contributed to, so thanks for him for this answer :o)
