Is it possible to play Windows Vista games on Windows XP

I am looking for a solution to play Windows Vista games on Windows XP. I tried to find download for XP but nothing is found. I love Vista Games, especially Chess Titans. I work mostly on XP (I can't install most of my applications into Vista). So I want to copy Chess Titans into XP. So that I can play same game in XP as well as run applications in background.

What problems are you encountering when trying to install apps. Do you know that you can install it in XP Compatibility mode if needed, don't you. I did not find any problem in downloading and installing the games, only on my PC with XP and Vista do not work, I notice a lack of definition and clarity in picture and after a few minutes cause eye discomfort.
