Getting error 1518 while installing Silverlight 5

Hi friends in my computer I am using windows Vista 64 bit operating system and I use to browse internet from internet explorer in my computer. I am facing problem while installing Silverlight 5 in my computer. Whenever I try to install Silver light in my computer at that time it says “system does not support the 64-bit setup”. How to solve this problem?

First I will suggest you try simple solution. You should download Clcleaner from the internet and then you have to install it in your computer and after installing that you have to scan your system and after doing that you have to also clean registry file and after check whether your problem get solved or not?

As far as I know windows 7 64bit and windows Server 2008 R2 SP1only support Silverlight 5 64Bit. You should download this DOWNLOAD. Now after downloading that you have to install in your computer and then your problem will get solved. I am telling you this because I was also facing this problem with my computer and then my friend suggested me to try Silverlight 32bit and I have tried that and after downloading that my problem get solved. I hope this solution will fix this problem.

In my computer I was also facing same problem and then I have tried silver light 32bit version and while installing Silverlight 32bit version I didn’t get any error. Now I am not facing any issues. if you want any more information then let me know.
