No Sound in Speakers

All of a sudden I can't get any sound from my PC, I know the speakers are working coz when you put the volume right up high you can hear a rusling sound. I've done all the checks and it confirms that the sound is ok with no errors and I've done a system restore, still nothing. Help please

You will need to provide more detailed info on the actual issue. First what is your operating system. Second what is the exact issue. You had mentioned that you can hear rusling sound. Can you hear the ting sound when you raise the volume bar. If not then try to run drivers update. Check your speaker connection and volume button also.
