Unable to install KB2518870 on Windows Vista getting error code 0x643

KB2518870 fails to install on the computer of mine. I am running Windows Vista. While doing the same I am getting error code 0x80070643. Is there any way to troubleshoot the above mentioned issue? I am waiting for the prompt replies of yours. Thanks a lot in advance.

I am suspecting that issue which you have stated over here is happening because of system corruption on the computer of yours. mostly it get happens when limited to other applications overwriting of .NET files or corruptions of the hard disk sectors.
