Acer Aspire 4730Z running Vista Home 32
I've had a multitude of issues, but where I'm at now is as follows:
If I startup normally, after the green scrolling bar for Windows comes on, it BSODs for a split second and reboots.
If I safe mode, it stalls and/or reboots after crcdisk.sys
If I boot from Restore disk (my new laptop did not come with original installation disk), and click repair (as opposed to install) it begins searching for my OS even though my OS is listed in the background, and it never stops searching.
BSOD I originally had was UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME, but now is just a code STOP: 0X0000007B (0X80599BB0, 0XC0000034, 0X0000000000, 0X000000000) which according to an online guide is INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
Please help. It's driving me nuts. And been going on for almost a week.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
