Vista to Windows 7 Upgrade

Running Vista Home Prem32Bit....will Upgrade to Windows7 32BIT

Ran Microsoft's Windows 7 Advisor....the Report shows under the PROGRAM
section, Cisco PEAP MODULE 1.0.13 is not compatible. It shows update is
available and when you click on it you go to a Cisco Site....but I couldn't
find the download, for that matter, any downloads. I have tried to get help
from CISCO, it is impossible. All I wanted was the link to download the
Update and all they wanted was a contract number.... I don't even know what
this program does...it may be the wireless Password Security???

It should not be this difficult, I need to update PEAP and I have spent many
hours at the Cisco site and Internet searches and have been unable to find
the download that will update Cisco PEAP Module to a version that is
Compatible with Windows 7.

Hopefully someone else has been sucessful and has located the site where I
can download and install the Update.........

You don't know the difference between Cisco software and Microsoft
software?
You must not be an "expert".

I had posted it there....its been viewed 110 times and no one has replied. I
thought since CISCO PEAP Module was installed under my current OS, Vista Home
Prem32Bit...that someone in this forum might be able to assist me.

Do you have a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller?
(or a Cisco Catalyst router or something?)

I know nothing of Cisco Peap Module,
but according to this thread it could be crapware
and can be uninstalled to avoid problems.

I can't help you find the download I'm afraid.

I have just done a clean install to W7 from Vista and, while backing up
data files, I found a Cisco folder. I couldn't find out what it was so
ignored it and went ahead with the install.

The machine is running W7 perfectly without any Cisco folder :D

Have you checked at your computer manufacturer's site ?
