Windows Vista SP2 error code 800B0100

Hi,I have a Vista machine(Vista Home Premium x86) which refuses to update the newest service pack.
So, i've run the System Readiness Update Tool and it seems that some files missing or they are corrupted.
Is it possible to send me these files?????????????This is my CBS.LOG

this is the knowledge base file referenced in your error report. i dont
see why it would keep you from installing a service pack, but its worth
a try i guess.

I have the same problem on Vista home basic 32-bit, Vista SP2 won't
install and only gives error 800B0100.

In my C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log there was at least 10 files
listed as "missing", and I found solution where I copied files from the
.cab-file for KB972145 to the folder C:\Windows\servicing\Packages. The
problem now is that the 2 still missing files in that Packages folder is
not in the .cab-file for KB972145!

So, I am stuck...

Perhaps you can try the same thing but with your KB...

The part with /x:c:\temp didn't work for me, I used 7-zip to unpack to
a folder, and the same for the .cab-file.
