Windows Experience Index "Cannot Complete Assessment"

I've searched all around and haven't found a viable solution. The
Windows Experience Index assessment runs, yet upon completion the
"cannot complete assessment" error message pops up. How do I go about
figuring out what is causing the problem?

I've read that NVIDIA drivers may be causing the issue, but I have the
most up to date drivers out there, and with a 9800GTX+ everything runs
beautifully, so I don't understand why the experience index would be
having a problem with that.

I built my system a few months ago and have tried and tried to fix this
error on several occasions, and have always failed.

As the failures are disk-related I guess the problem is with the disk.
How about doing some checks on the disk.

357195 (3124) - winsat\processresults.cpp:2606: Can't find assessed
disk number in XML output

I've found that this error is associated with the program TrueCrypt;
the encryption on a particular partition is causing the problem.

Re: Windows Experience Index "Cannot Complete Assessment"

Would it be possible for someone to just upload their XML file for the
scores (windows\performance\WinSAT\DataStore)? All I want to do here is
utilize certain screen savers that are only available with a certain
score for the video card, and I'm sure my 9800GTX+ can handle it. I've
never been able to get the assessment to run properly so i don't have
anything I can even edit to trick Vista.
