Fax feature on HP Solutions Center does not work for Officejet J6480

Help, I just bought an Officejet J6480 and have endlessly uninstall and
installed the software with HP's help to no avail. The "Send a fax"
feature on the Solutions Center just does not work, it keeps telling me
" The scan fax failed, retry the fax". I can fax, scan, copy directly
from the printer. I can also scan, convert from the Solutions center but
the "send a fax" feature is the only one that doesn't work. Can anyone
help me please. Everything else works fine.:cry:

This is an HP written program talking to an HP manufactured printer. The
only folks that can solve this is HP. Have you posted this question in an
HP forum? You'll probably get better response there. This isn't really a
Fax issue because all standard fax applications only know how to talk to a
fax modem, something your OfficeJet is not.
