So what's in the files that describe the problem.
Have you looked in the System Eventlog for the error?

Re: How to solve APPCRASH Problem in Vista

Hard to figure these issues out from our end but the first thing I'd do is
go to the ATI Radeon site and download & install the latest drivers for your
video card (atiumdva.dll is an ATI file). If you haven't done this since
8/25/2010 you should have updated drivers available. You will need to know
what series ATI Radeon card you have, 7, 8 or 9 series. Here's the link
below to download.

Re: How to solve APPCRASH Problem in Vista

Hi juicycouture,

You have to check your Flash version - http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

You should have version 10 or the latest version installed. If you have rebuilt your machine from the Vista installation disks or are using a Virtual Image of XP or Vista, then the Adobe flash control is dated. Check your Virtual images also and update Flash to the latest version. (Windows updates don't include Adobe Flash...)

What is the model/brand of your computer? Also, did Windows Vista come installed out of the box on this? It sounds to me like a driver issue with your video card. It may also be worth pressing the F8 key as the computer starts up to bring up the boot options menu. When you see a list beginning with 'Safe Mode', select 'Last Known Good Configuration' and it may revert the bad driver back to the original, should a driver update be the cause of your problem.
