Restore problems with my acer aspire 5920

Hi, I am trying to re-install my 5920 with recovery disks that I have for the laptop after a major problem I had yesterday. I cannot access the pc at all. After running the rescue disks, right at the end, I get an error message saying 'Restore failed - reason 0xd0000001e. Click OK to restart the computer'. Clicking OK restarts the pc but as it can find nothing I am at a complete loss as to what to do now or why the restore disks will not do what they are supposed to. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cliff

You need to call Acer. It's their recovery process and usually when recovery
disks fail it is because 1) bad CDs; 2) bad hardware.
