3d Pinball Space Cadet with Vista

Does anyone remember the 3d Pinball Space Cadet game that came on the plus
disk for Windows 95 or Windows NT4.0? I can get everything to work including
music, but not the sound effects (no sound at all). Anyone have any idea's?
I have checked Microsoft's web site & google but none of the recommendations
seem to work.
Thanks.

Bob

I'm quadruple booting with XP Pro in the primary boot partition C:,
Vista 32-bit in 1st logical partition D:, XP Pro in 2nd logical
partition (small partition, used just for testing) E:, and Vista 64 bit
in third logical partition (should be F: but Vista 64 bit demanded to be
called C: which screws me up when I try to remember which drive is
which, sigh.) When I saw your note it occurred to me that I've never
tried to play 3D Pinball in Vista. I was running Vista 32-bit at the
time, so I just opened Windows Explorer, navigated to the Pinball
directory in C: XP, double-clicked on pinball.exe, and voila. It runs
perfectly, sound and everything. I've put a shortcut in my Vista 32-bit
games directory. Don't know what would happen if I tried copying the
pinball directory into Vista and running it from there. But from the XP
pinball directory, the game runs fine. Of course, this is version that
came with XP, not the version that came with the Win98 Plus disk.

I forgot to mention I am using the 32 Bit of Vista on an acer aspire M5100
with 1gb of ram & a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30 Ghz.
