| show hidden files
how do I access show hidden files and folders? Windows Vista Home Premium laptop. Very messed up I think all my partitions are hiding. They show up as 'missing'. I have 4 or 5 desktop folders, 3 contacts, (1 folder and 2 files), No documents, etc. HP doesn't answer the phone. I know I probably have to do a disc recovery because my machine tells me I have no backups of anything on the computer. So there are no previous points to go to. I show 2 recovery's H & E of very different sizes. Could you tell me how to get to show hidden files and folders so I can try to see how bad this is? |

If Google Groups is correct - and there is no reason to believe otherwise - you have been using a computer for at least 9 years now and have been asking questions about computer usage online for the same length of time (starting in October 1999). All that time and you haven't figured out how to perform such a simple task?? |

Before my surgery, over the past 10 years, I was working 56 hours a week as a pediatric nurse, and caring for my disabled son. I couldn't have had too much time to bother you. Next time just ignore me and don't answer at all.
