HELP Axis and Allies no go on my Vista

Hi All.....
I loded in axis and allies on my new laptop and am getting some odd
things happening. I loded the 4.1 patch as well as loded the run
without cd patch and it starts out great till I get to the startup
screen then all goes south... I can see the back screen but cant see
any of the start buttons, it doesent show the layover screen that lets
me choose start game. If I click there is will start the game but then
will not show the popup screen either. I love to play and would love to
be able to take it on the road. I have gone into the compatibality
screen and even changed it to run 98, 2000, and XP and still nothing.
Hoping that there is help out there somewhere...+

Check for updates to the video driver.

Ok I did that but it still isnt working........ HELP ME!!!!!!!!
