roller coaster tycoon addons

I just found my Roller coaster tycoon gold edition (has corkscrew
follies and loopy landscapes included). The original game loaded with no
problem on vista, but when we try to load the second disc (corkscrew
follies) we get the message 'This game has known compability problems'.
When given the choice of aborting, or running I clicked on run, just to
see what it would do,,It did bring the main screen up, but when I
clicked on something there, it just shut it down. We can't find a fix
for this. Been to Hasbro games, been to Atari games. Been to microsoft.
Anyone have any ideas what can be done? Thanks in advance.
Just a couple of Old folks trying to Learn how play these new games:D
(Hint:our 1'st 'Electronic' game was PONG);)
