| Vista Icons For some reason absolutely no icons will go on my desktop. I finally found where they went and it was in the user's file called Desktop. And like I said that was fine until now. I want these icons back on my desktop and I can't figure out how to do it. I've gone through a ton of settings and nothing has helped. I'm hoping someone here is familiar enough with Vista to help me. Thanks! |

| Re: Vista Icons Hello RainNotebook, If the other posts suggestions did not help you, then you might check to make sure that the Desktop folder has the default location "%USERPROFILE\Desktop" (no quotes) set for it in the registry. Option Two in this tutorial will show you how to. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/14...ng-folder.html Hope this helps, Shawn RainNotebook;796428 Wrote: > Somehow I made changes to my Vista desktop.
