Can't install a HP Laserjet 1000 Printer in Vista

Hi: I'm trying to install an HP Laserjet 1000 printer in W Vista and I did
can do it. Do you know any solution? Thanks in advance

HP website states quite clearly to contact them regarding software for this
printer, it is not currently available.

When Vista first came out, HP told me to use the 6P printer driver for my
1022n Laserjet. It worked fine. About 8 months later, they wrote a driver
for it. <fwiw>

I would try the LaserJet 5p or 6p driver.
