Upgrade to Vista 32bit from XP 64bit cause one of internal drive missing

I had just formatted my system and upgraded to Vista 32bit. It was having a 64bit XP. I thought going for a 32bit version will be much more better and I can still use some of my old applications. But after installation I found that there is a second hard drive which failed to work. There is one more 80GB hard disk in my computer. It is not detected now. That was the default location where I use to keep my data. How can I bring it back.

Right click on My Computer > Manage. Click on Disk Management. Can you see your drive listed there. If yes then the issue lies with Vista. I think there are some issue with the drivers. Does your system has a raid controller. Go in bios and check that. Disable the options which are not needed. In this way you can troubleshoot the problem.
