Did you try to check for the driver for the device from the manufacturer's website? In any case there is also one solution which I found online and would like you to know. First of all you need to ensure that you are logged in as admin. After that remove the Wan Miniport device from the registry and then remove it from the device manager as well. If the Wan miniport is hidden then you will need to use the "set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" variable to get it to display. After that use the devcon tool of Microsoft to reinstall the Wan Miniport device that can be downloaded from here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311272 |
