Windows Vista Graphics Display Drivers for Intel D845gvsr...?

I have a Intel D845gvsr board that has 640mb of memory with pentium 4 2.4ghz processor. I have installed Windows Vista on it and every other drivers are working fine on it, but the graphics are not. So can anyone tell me from where i can download the graphics driver for this board that will work under Vista. Thanks for any help.

I went to the Intel official website and I was not able to find any Vista graphics driver for your motherboard Intel D845GVSR. They have only got the Windows xp driver of the video drivers. I think unless the manufacturer releases the graphic driver version for Vista you will have to wait for sometime. Also, I guess the intel 845 graphics chip doesnt have DirectX 9 support internally, so there are no Vista drivers for it.

Can you try to download the Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver for 845 Chipset-Based Intel Desktop Boards from here, which is for Windows XP but you can try to install the same driver in XP compatability mode. Just right click on the setup.exe and then go to its properties and then choose the Compatiblity tab and then tick mark XP in the given list and then click ok. After that right click on the .exe file again and then run it as administrator. Check now, if the installation succeeds or not. If not then this means there is no support for this 845 chip based on Windows Vista.
