huawei e220

Hello,
I am trying to connect my huawei e220 (HSPDA modem) on my vaio laptop
running Vista Home Premium.
When I plug the usb cable for the 1st time, it seems that (generic usb
device) driver is installed, then after 5-10 sec the modem start
disconnecting/connecting all the time (at the usb device level).
Even after updating the firmware/software to be Vista compatible, I have the
same problem.
Does Vista keep in memory the driver used at the time of the first connexion
??
Any idea to solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance

Vista does not keep the old driver in memory but it is in the driver cache
on the hard drive. You can check the driver version in Device Manager to
make sure that the driver you want to use is installed. Type "device
manager" in the Start/Search box and hit Enter.

Hi,

I have got Huawei USB Modem. Now I want to write an application which
can store SMS in my database as soon as it is received. Are there any
classes for handling Huawei E220 USB Modem? Please help if there is
some C# sample code
