2 GB SanDisk Cruzer USB mounts as a CD Rom

In my Vista system, my new 2GB USB shows up lke a CD Rom device. When I open that there is inside. I had purchased 2 GB SanDisk Cruze USB that came with U3 software. I did not use U3. Instead of that had I configure ReadyBoost. That would give me a bit or more ram. Now when I hook the usb it shows me another CD rom in my computer. I cannot put data in it. I checked in Device Manager where there are number of different devices are listed with yellow exclamation mark. The usb looks to be working fine.

That is a weird thing you had mentioned. It never saw this type of problem in Vista. Try to run Windows Update and see that you can locate the right drivers or not. Basically a USB is kind of plug and play device which is installed on its own. Try to copy some data in the usb drive and see what error you are getting.
