Vista won't burn any Data CDs in Vista

I am using Vista and whenever I burn a DATA cd I am getting a error. At the time of writing data the error message appears "there is some problem with disc burning" and it stopped. It has spoiled a few couples of disc. It starts burning but due to some reason the process fails in between. I tested the same on two disc and both are not gone know. I checked inside Device Manager and found that the DVD RW is proper. There is no error nor there is any warning sign on the same.

I think your optical drive is not proper. This drives has small laser head that burns data on the disc. And now that is not working. If the system is under warranty then you can try to get it replaced. DVD RW are very cheap this days. I am here talking about Desktop. For laptop they are costly. It does not look issue with Vista. If possible try to arrange a usb dvd rw and then check back.
