Logitech MX5000 + Microsoft Bluetooth Drivers

I am using a wireless Logitech MX5000 bluetooth keyboard. I had used XP for years and now just for change I had install Windows Vista Utlimate. After installation of Vista the mouse is not detected. I had tried a number of stuff to fix this thing, but it really did not worked. I am using the default setup that I received with the keyboard and the same was working in XP.

You need the right drivers. There is always this kind of common problem with Windows Vista. Also check that you are downloading the right 32bit SetPoint 4.80 version. If you are using the XP edition of same on Vista, then it is not going to work. There are chances you might fail in getting the proper setup.

It is correct. I was facing the same issue. When I had downloaded and installed the fresh edition 64bit Vista the keyboard is detected. There are some problem with driver configuration. Now to make the bluetooth drivers work properly you need to ensure that you are getting the right edition of drivers and simply do not forget to remove the old one completely. Or else there will be compatibility problem with both drivers.
