Drivers For Vista - Sound Blaster Live! Digital Entertainment 5.1 (SE)

Where to find a compatible Vista drives for Sound Blaster Live!. I found this detected in Device Manager, but it is not installed. There is a exclamation mark which says that the device has no appropriate drivers. I tried right click > updated drivers. But that did not worked well. It just show me that no appropriate drivers are found. What are the other ways to get proper drivers. Thanks.

There is no Vista drivers available for this sound card. The last driver that I had see was Windows XP 32 and 64bit. While the same drivers does not work on Vista. You can try to run the setup in compatibility mode. But there are quiet less chances that it will work properly. I will advice you to use Windows XP only if you want to use this card.

This is quiet a responsibility of the seller who is providing the card. Because if he does not provide a valid drivers, then it is really not at all worth to buy the same. This makes the device unresponsive on Vista. I am having a similar card, but for a 2.1 system. I tried a number of things to configure the audio driver of XP on Vista, but it did not worked properly.
