No native Vista drivers for ATI Radeon 9000?

I cannot find any Vista drivers for my ATI Radeon system. I am having ATI Radeon 900 Pro 128MB GPU. There are tons of new problem appeared when I upgraded my system to Windows Vista. I checked on Windows Vista and able to find a driver pack which resembles that it will work for Vista. It was some catalyst_8-31-100_vista32_rc2. After installing that I found that the drivers does not provided the display that I had expected. Also Windows Vista does not shows GPU RAM as listed in the configuration. That is a bit weird. It looks my system is still operating on the on-board chip. Where can I locate proper drivers for Radeon 9000.

Only the official website is a kind of resource that can provide you a valid driver. There is no other place you can find that. If that is not working then you must contact ATI to get support on the same. Most of the time only Vista systems are noted facing driver problems.

I have a old computer with same gpu. And really it was working quiet fine, unless I screwed the same by installing Vista. I cannot play any games now and it is worth not struggling for the same. My friend has a system which has GEForce FX5200 w/256M. He added Vista RC1 and the system simply has no display when the video output is kept as default for the gpu. The card rating shown by Vista is just 2.6. That is too low for some new games.
