Live Vision Camera - Vista

Why cant I use my new xbox 360 Live Vision Camera with Vista?

The error that I keep getting says that I need to install is:

Xbox Security Method 3, Version 1

What is this?

i do not there are any drivers avalible on vista or windows update.

first the zune software and now this, what are the xbox team doing.

It's now February 2007; I have installed Vista Home Premium Complete Retail
and my Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera will not work on it --- no driver found.

Come on Microsoft, can't you make your own stuff work?

If you guys don't care about Vista compatibily who's going to?

I had to go buy a Creative webcam for Vista --- that's just lame.

I have the same problem with my xbox live vision webcam. It's a shame that a
microsoft product doesn't work on Windows Vista. Please Microsoft do the
driver for your product "xbox live vision"!!!!!!!

My XBOX Live Vision doesn't work. It says i need a CD so i choose other
options becuz i didn't get one (good job guys). And it can't work becuz the
driver isn't located. Get your own products right. Microsoft should be
ashamed that they are the leaders in technology when their own products don't
work with their own software. Great Programming!!!

today.Tried again to install same problem no update they asked me to call
back if problem persists. will do that tomorrow after i try again to install
maybe needs an extra day to update lol :)

I called microsoft a couple of days ago 3 to 4 days to be exact and support
told me they should have an update to the problem by the 8th of may wich is
today.Tried again to install same problem no update they asked me to call
back if problem persists. will do that tomorrow after i try again to install
maybe needs an extra day to update lol :)

Its already the end of May how come they dont have the new drivers up? Come
on Microsoft, you made the OS you think you would be the best at making
driver updates for it.

I Seem to have my cam working.

When it asks you to install driver software click the last option to ignore
and not to show this message again I've got it working in MSN but thats all.
