Hi, Code 10 means no driver to support the device could be found. You will need to check with Sandisk to see if they provide a Vista compatible driver yet, or you can try an XP driver (these often work). http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Cata...3_Players.aspx -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Rusty" <Rusty@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6BBD7E05-F14E-4CE3-9CAB-9796E0A573DC@microsoft.com... > Is there any way to get Windows Vista RC2 to recognize my Sansa e200 mp3 > player in MTP Mode when I plug it into the USB port? You were right. I updated the firmware to the latest version and it works great now. Thanks for the help! "Rick Rogers" wrote: > Hi, > > Code 10 means no driver to support the device could be found. Same thing happens (or rather dosen't happen) to me. I have Sansa 240(?). It recognises the MTP at work but not home. Have XP both places. Downloaded MS driver at home, but still no worky. I've downloaded latest Sansa firmware as well. |

You can try this AT YOUR OWN RISK, This solved the issue I had with my Sony MP4. Copy ALL OF THIS into a text doc, then save the file as wpdmtp.inf and put it in windows\inf or wherever you want, really, just point it there when it asks for the drivers, OR, go into device manager, and "update driver" and point it wherever you have this file. ..................Copy after this.............. ;
