USB Bluetooth adapters with Vista

Are there are any that fully work? Tried a toshiba one and while it shows up
in the device manager, I get no bluetooth menu in the control panel to turn
discovery on.

I really need one in order to sync my pda with mobile device center.

RE: USB Bluetooth adapters with Vista

I'm using a Belkin F8T012 here in the UK. Adaptor is fine and all drivers and
software that came with it installed OK and are working fine.
Hope this helps

RE: USB Bluetooth adapters with Vista

Have you tried the newer BlueTooth stack from Toshiba. It is on Toshiba's
beta drivers for Vista website.

It worked fine on the built in card that I added to my M4 tablet. It
actually added the ability to switch off the stupid copy protection crap that
they enforced on BT2 headphones.

Major issue with Vista Home and Belkin F8T012

Is there anything different you did other than install the drivers for the Belkin F8T012, and it's software from the CD ?

It installs correctly and the software works too. but wen i try to 'start the bluetooth device' the pc hangs itself and refuses to budge....

any help will be appreciated..
