NO Vista Driver ASUS USB ADSL MODEM (AAM6000UG/D - AAM6000-ALC)

I am using ASUS AAM6000UG USB ADSL MODEM on my Windows XP system. I use internet through this modem and it works fine. I have a laptop on which I want to use internet. And it is having Windows Vista. When I hook the mode, it is not detected. I tried to install the drivers, but nothing worked. When I checked the official website and found that it is a plug and play device and there is no need to find the drivers. But Vista is not detecting the modem.

Check Device Manager. It will show you unknown devices listed. Try to right click on the same and choose update. It will try to locate some common updates and if you are lucky you might get the driver downloaded in Automatic Update. Or else the best way to fix the issue is using RJ45 cable which does not require any driver.
