lost software disk for HP DeskJet F335

I don’t have the disk that came with my HP DeskJet F335 all-in-one printer. I lost communication for a bit, but have managed to restore all but my scan capabilities [?] I am really frustrated for not being able to repair the problem myself... especially after reading articles (i.e. pertaining to ActiveX, etc.) downloading patches, a new driver and other 'sure fixes' from hp.com. All to no avail. I am operating Windows Vista
(Windows ‘ANYTHING BUT VISTA’, was my idea!!!)
    [sigh]
Can I possibly fix the problem by downloading a new copy of my “Solution Center” ? and if so, where ? ? HELP
    I humbly surrender …

Do you have the current driver available for your HP DeskJet F335 All-in-One System? If not then download Driver, Firmware, etc from here. Refer to the manual of HP DeskJet F335 as well from here. Try to uninstall the driver for your device first and then reboot your system and reinstall the driver. If that doesn't help, you may want to conclude a problem exist with the scanner and replacement could be advantageous.

Thank you... I will give that a try. Not quite sure if I know how to uninstall and still 'save' the driver, so I will refer to manual first.
    Again, I am much obliged.

Well, if you want to uninstall the previous software or driver for the HP DeskJet F335 then all you need to do is click on Start >> Go to Control Panel >> Add and Remove Program >> and then find out any software or driver listed with the HP DeskJet F335, click on it and then at the right side you will see, either change or remove it, simply click on it and then remove the software, restart pc and then reinstall the drivers.
