Micromax Q3 (Mobile Phone) gprs modem to Vista Home Basic

I have been recently given a mobile phone Micromax Q3 by my sister and I am trying to install its modem driver on Windows Vista. I have successfully installed the gprs modem drivers but it is not working properly when am trying to dial it up by going into control panel and then internet options and then connections and then setup. I get an error message that "Windows could not detect a dial-up modem? Is the modem connected? Is the modem switched on?". Please help me out.

I think that you will have to get internet activated on your mobile phone first. You will have to get your GPRS settings from your service provider and have the settings activated. Then by the use of your PC Suite, please connect the phone and then just select Connect to internet in order to get using the phone a modem.
