Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Network - Realtek RTL8139/810x Family

I have a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet Nic on my system and even though I have updated the driver for same, but still it wont work on my pc? I have Windows Vista runing on my computer, can anyone tell me how do i install this thing on my pc? Any helps would be apperciated. Thanks you in advance.

I wonder if you really need it? Are you sure that if it is installed then you will get some more functionality that it may offer, that is not present till now? Have you checked if the current driver working fine or not? You should only do the driver updates incase when there is some issue with the current driver for the nic that you are trying to do. You could even try to uninstall the driver for it and also any other supporting applications before trying to reinstall any other new driver. You also need to make sure that the drivers you are installing is suppoted in the operating system that you are using, whether a 32 bit or a 64 bit OS. Incase, if nothing works, then the only option is to contact the manufaturer of this device and ask for some help or either replacement.
