Toshiba Satellite Vista laptop

Please help me. My cursor goes nuts. I type a line and look back to find
that the cursor has jumped to
Lord- who-knows-where. It may have jumped back into the typed line or
jump onto another cell shown on the page. I am losing my mind.

The most common reason for this is that you are unconsciously hitting the
touchpad as you type. Many laptops have a button or keypress to disable the
touchpad while you're typing. Refer to Toshiba's help manual to see where
yours is.

I have seen this problem occur with optical mice setting on a hard, smooth
surface while the person keyboarding strikes the keys hard enough to cause
small mouse movements. Also in the absence of typing if the surface is
reflective, like glass. Check it out.

Re: Toshiba Satellite Vista laptop

Have you updated ALL your drivers yet? Go to Toshiba and install the ones
for your model and I even recommend then going to you video card (chip),
sound card, NIC and Wi-Fi card/chip maker's site and get their latest. These
later drivers can be difficult to determine if you are not fairly computer literate.
Regardless get the latest from Toshiba and they should help.
