| Problems in Warcraft III
Whenever I play Warcraft III FT, it will become really choppy after a few hours. I'll play 2 or 3 games and then mid-game it will become unbearable. I've checked the mem usage in those games and it gets up to 500k, and even when I'm just sitting in a chat channel afterwards it's still up around 250k. For reference, when I first start it it's around 70k when in a chat channel. The problem seems to go away after I restart Warcraft, but it will inevitably come back. This problem seems to have just came about recently. I've updated my video card driver and direct x, but it didn't help. System Specs Windows XP Pro Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz Dual core processor Nvidia 7800 GT video card 1GB ram |

for some games to become choppy after a few hours is totally normal.its called memory leak what happens is the same memory address is accessed over, and over until it becomes locked.simple fixed when the choppiness starts restart the computer. |

Thanks for your reply, but is there any other solution or way to alleviate it some? Restarting is very impractical as it happens in the middle of an online game. Also, the friends I play the game with have never experienced this problem. Do you think that getting another gig of ram would be beneficial? |
