for some games to become choppy after a few hours is totally normal.its called memory leak what happens is the same memory address is accessed over,and over until it becomes locked.simple fixed when the choppiness starts restart the computer.

Thanks for your reply, but is there any other solution or way to alleviate it some? Restarting is very impractical as it happens in the middle of an online game. Also, the friends I play the game with have never experienced this problem. Do you think that getting another gig of ram would be beneficial?
