Divinity: Dragon Commander autosave problem

I recently purchased the Divinity: Dragon Commander from Steam and I have noticed that there is a bug in the game that is related to the autosave feature. When you will load from any autosaved data and then click on map, you will get a screen with a message saying that "waiting for other commanders" and the game will not start from there anymore. How to fix this problem, does anyone know? Thanks.

Can you try to exit out to the main menu and then load the save from there, just check it and let me know if you still face the issue. It might be possible that it could be a bug when you load the save at the time of playing game and then if you exit to the main menu, you can avoid such problems. You might be having other save point in the same, simply try to load them and see if that works.

It was noted that this was a known issue and this problem only happens in casual mode in the version of the game that you have. If you will try to reload the same save game then it will again get stuck but if you make a new save game then the game will not stuck at all. This problem also happens by loading a very old save game from the beta stages of this game.

Well, if the game doesnt start then try to start the game in Windowed mode. You will need to download this file and then place it in this location - \Documents\Larian Studios\Dragon Commander\. After that when you try to start the game then you can set it to the Windowed resolution of your choice. You can even try to delete all the files from \Documents\Larian Studios\Dragon Commander\ which will reset all config and graphics options to default if the first solution is not working for you.
