I am a huge fan of Assassin's Creed series. Have played all of its releases and now ready for the next. Today while searching for some info i got some new trailer with AnvilNext game engine. I just want some info about this game engine. What is AnvilNext actually ? How is it different from other game engines and what we getting extra with this ? Please let me know. Thank you.

If you remember, Ubisoft unveiled a new game engine called Anvil five years ago in 2007 for making its game. It was a great hit for the high end video games made by Ubisoft in the past. Now, they have upgraded the game Engine for their upcoming game Assassin's Creed 3, and it is named as AnvilNext Engine. It has the ability to render seamless worlds of nearly infinite possibility.
