Quantum Conundrum game requires windows 7, no support for windows xp or vista?

If my thinking is correct than it will be ridiculous. I bought Quantum Conundrum game yesterday and tried installing it on my Xp Sp3 system. While installation it stucked at a point and says something like Windows 7 Required. What is it ? i checked its system requirements before buying the game and i know it needs Windows 7... but is it JUST Windows 7 ? I mean, there are many games that needs W7 but they still do work on Xp and Vista.

But Quantum Conundrum doesn't seems to work on either XP or Vista. Do we need to play it only on Windows 7 ? If yes, as i said above, it will be ridiculous.

I am not sure about the same but I think it supports Windows Vista and Windows XP.I have checked out the specification as well and have found all the sites mentioning windows 7 in the minimum as well as recommended requirement but while checking out for the same I came across steam knowledge base article and found them mentioning trouble shooting steps for Windows Vista and Windows XP as well along with Windows 7. These make me think that it is supported by xp and vista. If you have any doubt then you can refer to the below link.

No, Quantum Conundrum game does not support Windows XP. If it would have then it would have been mentioned in the system requirement of the same. I have not found any sites mentioning other than this.

I have not tried out the game by now but I will surely try running it on windows xp and will let you both know if it runs. Till then if anyone finds out any confirmed update reading windows xp support then just post it here with source.
