How to get higher screen resolution in Quantum Conundrum

Sponsored Links
I am trying to run Quantum Conundrum on 1920*1080 but I am not able to play on the same as it gets turned to 1280x720. I just wanted to know if I will be able to play the game at higher screen resolution?? Is there anyone who has been able to play the game at higher screen resolution and can help me out as well?? Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

In that case you can go to C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\TryGame\Config\TryEngine.ini and check out for ResX and ResY. Once you get them then just change their values to 1920*1080. Just make sure that you are saving the same before exiting, when you are done with the same then launch the game and now it should run fine.

Re: How to get higher screen resolution in Quantum Conundrum

If you want then you can try replacing your config file with the below attached config file. This file will make the below changes:
  • Disabling Vsync and caps
  • It will remove bloom, motion blur effects
  • It will set the resolution to 1920*1080.
If you want to run the game on higher than 1920*1080 then you can set resX & resY value accordingly as mentioned by the above used to run the game on desired possible solution?

Re: How to get higher screen resolution in Quantum Conundrum

Even I need some help regarding the same in my case I am not able to go above 1920*1080 it just stays at 1366x768 resolutions. I have tried changing resX & resY value but no avail. I am just not able to get the game running on 2560x1440 even when my system is capable of running such games at 2560x1440. Is this a bug in the game or there is some other way by which I can run the game on 2560x1440?? Currently I am running the game on 1920*1080 and will definitely like to know if there is any solution by which I can run the game on higher resolution than this. Thanks in advance.

Re: How to get higher screen resolution in Quantum Conundrum

I don’t know how come its not working out for you. I mean I have changed it in the same way and have got the game running on 2560x1440 without any issues. Anyways if you are not able getting any help from changing resX & resY in C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\TryGame\Config\TryEngine.ini then you can try changing the same in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Quantum Conundrum\Engine\Config. Just check it out and let me know if it is helping. If you face any further issues with the same then let me know I will surely try to help you out with other possible solution. Best of luck.
