'Your login information was incorrect error' with Diablo 3

When I am trying to login to play Diablo III, I am getting an error message saying “Your login information was incorrect”. I have searched out for the same and have found a no of people having the same error. In fact pages on some forum has been filled with just the letter same for addressing the error but there has not been a single effective solution to try out.

Is there anyone who has faced this issue and has got any success in fixing this out??? I have tried logging in several times but then it is just not making any difference and I am just welcomed with the same error message. I really need to get rid of this issue and enjoy the game like others do.

So if anyone has any update on this issue then please help me out as well.

I think that you are having the same case as that of mine. Actually I was facing the same issue and even I was running out of ideas, I had tried logging in several times but as you have already mentioned above even I was getting the same error message all the time.

Later I found the cause of the issue and was able to fix it out. I was actually copy and pasting the password using ctrl + c and ctrl + v and because of that I was getting that error, so later when I entered the password by typing it then it worked and I was able to login in without any such issues, I have found a no of people who were performing this small mess but then later typing the password is doing the trick, if you don’t want to type the password all the time then a better idea will be saving the password somewhere and then copy and paste it in the password text field, if you try to copy "********" from the password field itself then it won’t be copying the actual characters because of which we get that error message.

I think that’s not an issue, most of the people are aware that copying "********" does not copy the actual characters, even I have faced the same error message quite a few times when logging in to battlenet.

Ithink that the cause of this issue is probably their busy servers, I have faced multiple errors like “Your login information was incorrect error with Diablo III” and “your account does not exist” but when I tried logging in later then I had not faced any of the error and I was able to logging without any problem, previously I thought that my account had been hacked and I had tried changing the password as well but then no avail and I was still getting the same error message but then like I have mentioned it was random, I mean sometime I used to get logged in with the very first attempt where as some time it used to take more than 10 tries, anyways you can cross check if you are having the above case but if not, Then you will have to probably wait and try the login again later.

Guys, I am not very sure but then I have just checked out for the same and yes even I have come across more and more people having the same issue but then I have found one mentioning that he was able to fix this out by creating a new Administrator account in Windows, so if you are not having any success with the above solution then you can probably try out creating a new Administrator account just check out if this is working out for you.
To create new Administrator account in Windows xp:

• Go to start menu and then click on Control Panel> User Accounts> Create a new account
• Now enter the name that you want and then click on next and Select “Computer Administrator” type and click on Create Account and you are done.

To create new Administrator account in Windows Vista / 7

• Go to start menu and then click on Control Panel> User Accounts> Manage User Accounts> Create a new account
• Now enter the name that you want and then click on next and Select “Computer Administrator” type and click on Create Account and you are done.

I have been facing the same issue and I have still not been able to fix it, I have tried out all the possible solutions that has been mentioned above but then they are just not helping and I am just not able to login, I am getting the Your login information was incorrect error every time when I am trying to do so, I really did not had any issues in logging to the battlenet for registering the game code using the same password previously but then I don’t know what is going wrong with the same now, by now I have tried changing the password twice and then logging in but then it is not making any difference.

I don’t know if it was related or not but then I have tried out uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times, deleting the program data files and letting them populate again automatically as well. I don’t even think that there is anything wrong with the registered email address as I have been using the same from a long time and it is still working well on the other sites, like the one has mentioned even I had come across one mentioning that creating a new Administrator account had fixed the issue? But then it did not for me,on the other hand even if the solution has worked out for some I just wanted to ask that why is there a need to create a additional user accounts for starting the game?? Is there any logic?? I have found a no of people raising this issue but then I have not yet come across any officials addressing the same, I am just feeling helpless.

If anyone knows what exactly is causing this issue and knows a workaround for fixing the same then please share it here, it will be highly appreciated. I really don’t want to try out illogical solutions like formatting the system, creating new account and so. An effective and working solution regarding this issue will be highly appreciated.
