How to activate Digital Download version of Diablo III?

I have purchased the digital version of Diablo III, downloaded it and installed it on my System. Now I would like to know that how can we activate this game? I really don’t have any idea about that. There is no information on their official site as well. I was going through my account setting but it was not mentioned any of the activation key. Is there someone who knows about that? If yes then please let me know that. Thank you so much in advance.

I have also activated using battlenet account and I would like to tell you that it does not require having the activation key for that. If you are having the battlenet account then that is enough for activation of the Diablo 3 license and once you have activated that then you will be able to make use of client.

If you are having the retail game then you will need to have the key and then only you will be able to activate that battlenet account but in case you have purchased that digitally then the Blizzard already activated for the license to be used with the battlenet account. This is the only thing that I know about that and don’t think that it works something differently.

Yes, if you have already activated account then there is no need to activate it again. When you start with the game then instead of activate it now, you will have to press the button that says you already activated it. Now you can play the game without any problem. This is the way I am using it and that works for me so I am posting with the same. If you have done some wrong selection while installing then you can simply download fresh installer and then do the installation again.
