Installer Tome 3.MPQ error when downloading Diablo III

Recently I have started downloading Diablo III game but while doing the same I got some error message saying “Installer Tome 3.MPQ ” and downloading stopped. I have tried different solutions like Flush DNS and reset the router but this doesn't helped in any way.

While downloading this game i also get error message saying that:"applications/diablo-III--8370-enUS-Installer Tome 3.MPQE could not be opened because an error 108 occurred" and download Cancel itself. This very irritating..

Can anyone help me out here ?

Basically this error means your downloader has not downloaded .MPQ file completely, Hence you should try to re-download the client again. While re-downloading client makes sure you do not stop or pause it unless it is completely downloaded. Other than this you can try the below troubleshooting steps but I am not sure this will help you:

• Remove all existing installer for Diablo 3 files and folder
• Remove battle.net folder by default this folder located in C drive
• Now try to re download game client from my b.net account management and after that install it…

Try this, open diablo 3install folder and check if you have any files end with a .part suffix, if you find any .part suffix file, it means you’re not getting this issue due to client downloader. This error message appears due to lots of issue like you have closed downloader before downloading or your downloader crashed. Along with this you may get this error due to beta game file, if you have installed the Diablo 3 beta then make sure you have removed all beta files on your system before downloading full game. I have got this same issue; first of all i have removed the all beta files and after that started re-downloading.

There are few steps that you should try to get rid of this error messages. Just go through below mentioned stuff to fix the downloading issue :

Solution 1: Remove the all tomes file ending with a .part suffix and then try to re-download game.

Solution 2: Turn off PTP downloading; with this you can download your game bit smoother. Some ISPs block peer to peer downloading and due to this you are not able to download full game. To disable peer-to-peer downloading:

• On Main menu click View
• Choose Preferences.
• Now here make uncheck mark on Enable Peer-to-Peer Transfer checkbox.
• Click OK.

Solution 3: Make sure Firewall and Antivirus are disabled. These security suites may interrupt while downloading the game.

Solution 4: Disable Proxy Settings, make sure your computer is not using proxy server because by default most of the internet users doesn't need to be configured to proxy server. To Disable Proxy Settings go to Start--> Control Panel--> Internet Options (you will find this on Network and Internet). Now in Internet Options go to Connections tab and make click on the LAN Settings button, on LAN Settings window make unchecked in Use a Proxy Server for your LAN checkbox. if your already using Proxy Server for your LAN, then try to uncheck Automatically detect settings checkbox and f it is not checked, check it and save this setting.
