How to get rid of Error 3005-Player has be disconnected on Diablo III

I used to play video games on my computer. Recently I have downloaded and installed Diablo III on my computer. I did not got any issue while installing game. I tried to play this particular game couple of times but I got an error message saying that ‘ player has been disconnected’ and error code is 3005. Let me know if you are having any useful information to resolve the matter of mine. thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the situation I am suggesting that you should power cycle your router. First all you should shutdown your computer that are connected with modem and router. Disconnect router and modem from power supply and keep them unplugged for couple of minutes. Now you should reconnect both mode and router with power supply one after another and see that light should be blinking of both the device. After that connect both devices with your computer and see whether it worked for you or not.Why I am suggested above mentioned solution since the issue that you had stated above might be happening because of jam in network cache.

It could be possible that many players are trying to log in on the game server at the given moment of the time. So you should simply try to login with some players at a time or login one player at a given moment of the time. If above mentioned solution does not work for you than You should open ports 80, 1119, and 6881 – 6999 on firewall and router that you are using.

The above mentioned issue might be happening because of old NIC driver and router firmware. so there would be lots of complexity while handling the connection. So recommend that you should get the latest version of firmware as well as drivers from the official website and you should install the same.

I am suspecting the issue happened to downtime of servers. Mostly they used to down server to perform maintenance work. You can get the idea whether server is down or not by having a look on Breaking News part of Diablo III login screen. If you figured out that server has been down than you should wait till they are completed with maintenance work.
