How to get the Left Boot and The Hand Mirror in Risen 2: Dark Waters

I am playing Risen 2: Dark Waters from past three days and I have reached a point where I need to find the Left Boot and the Hand Mirror to proceed in the game. I have been searching for past two to three hours but failed to find the left boot and hand mirror. I asked my friend about this and he said that best place to find left boot is the taverns in the villages on the islands. I have searched around six to seven taverns but failed to find Left Boot in the taverns. Can someone tell where I can find Left Boot and The Hand Mirror? Some directions or places where they are commonly found might help.

You will need to purchase the hand mirror from the booze. You will not find a single left boot on the starting island as suggested by your friend. May be he mistook some other location for the starting island. To find the Left Boot on the small island near Antigua on which there is a Old Mac's tower. You will surely find the Left Boot there.
