Making of Risen 2: Dark Waters

I have not started with the Risen 2: Dark Waters. Before I start with that, I would like to know details about the game like making of the game. What are the new features that are implemented in the game and what are the things that are removed from it. There are many users on some of the sites who are posting wrong details about the game so I wanted to confirm that from here. I would be thankful if someone can post some information regarding this game here.

Re: Making of Risen 2: Dark Waters

As far as making is concerned, you can simply search for “The Making Of Risen 2” on YouTube and you will get the result The Making Of Risen 2 -- Episode 1, 2, 3… Just watch those videos and you can have idea about the making of the game from there.

Risen 2 is the sequel to the Piranha Bytes RPG of 2009. This time the game world extends over several islands. In addition there is the nameless hero in a pirate setting on the road, therefore there are also firearms. The story begins here a few years after its predecessor: Titans that have nearly destroyed the world and nearly wiped out humanity. Even worse, it will appear as a mysterious creature from the deep sea and make navigation impossible. Apparently, these are the pirates of the Southern Islands and have found a way against the creatures. The nameless hero sets out to achieve this means.

Risen 2 is a great game. This is vast, beautiful to see and play. You may find it challenging but very rewarding. Once passed the difficult initial impact then player will be addicted from exploration. Risen game makes a good impression on players and that forced them to purchase the Risen 2 as well. The new game of Piranha Bytes brings us an imaginary archipelago in the Caribbean, soaked in grog and voodoo magic. Rather than the The Secret of Monkey Island, the developers were inspired by the movie series "Pirates of the Caribbean", which is complete with sea monsters, shamans and continuous exchange of dirty jokes. Risen 2 is a mix between RPG and action free roaming. That is, after a brief tutorial that introduces the events and commands, the player is free to go where he want. We know that Pirates are not newcomers to the field of video games and also launched on the approach to the role playing game. I am listing the best and the worst thing in the game that I find in the game:

    The Best
    • The pirate setting has nothing to envy to the Pirates of the Caribbean saga
    • The diversity of possible solutions to all the web searches
    • The rich character skill system

    The Worst:
    • Combat System, clumsy, slow, inefficient.
    • It gives real sense of continuity with the previous Risen
    • Graphics is about average, maybe a little outdated for today

Re: Making of Risen 2: Dark Waters

Risen 2 take us to a few years after the first delivery. The nameless hero who defeated the Fire Titan Faranga Island is now a drunk who spends his days in bed at the bar trying to forget the price he paid to save the world. In the middle of all these, his old 'friends' demanded him to return to do the dirty work and stop a new threat through the acquisition of a weapon which is very terrible as old. However, the aspect of our enemy has now changed. Under this premise we are accepting that this RPG is a worthy successor to his predecessor for which there is not much news. Risen 2 is presented as an old school RPG. This is with a difficulty under the title that appears as typical of the genre.

Re: Making of Risen 2: Dark Waters

Those gamers who prefer one type of role-playing game based on the hack and slash, will find serious problems to enjoy this one. The real-time combat proves complicated even during startup and that is its main failing. This defect may come precisely since the developers attempt to make a real combat. In this a numerical superiority of 2 to 1 against us is something to worry about. But how little control you have over it. Some challenges are unplayable combat. Unfortunately, when learning new skills warrior enhance our effectiveness, we find that they work for commands whose activation does not take place as much as the keyboard and mouse. Risen 2 is not the last word in terms of graphics. The little expression on the faces of the characters shows the rigidity of their movements. As for the sound, the soundtrack is not a big deal.

Risen 2 role-playing is not the exposure of the year but it is a worthy title that should only approach the fan. You will have to forgive the technical shortcomings if you wish to enjoy the good RPG. Other than this, the pirate aesthetics is anew and seductive game that can be unsettling for those accustomed to cavernous dungeons which is full of goblins and magic and medieval style sword. And yet, there is chance to play someone of Jack Sparrow type which is going to be very seductive. Of course, the decision is in your hands. If you really want to become a pirate, cross the seas then you will surely enjoy this game.

Risen 2: Dark Waters is a direct sequel to the previous game. Together with the other members of the Inquisition, you live in a large fortress near the beach. There is still a battle against the Titans, but it takes less and less. Why? Large ships with all kinds of stock goods are always close to the coast and sunk by giant sea monsters. When one morning in search of survivors, meet Patty. She is the daughter of the dangerous pirate Steel Beard and claims to know a way to sample the silence. For this, she must search for her father and thus pull out together to find Steel Beard. And to have to get help, you have to get a hardened pirate. Throughout your adventures you will get a lot of missions. These are typically in different ways to solve. So you come early in the game you encounter a situation where some pirates to get back to work. This problem can be solved either by fighting against the pirates in question, or by talking to villagers, who then all sorts of secrets to tell. If you have the necessary information, you can the pirates back to work with the promise of a lot of gold, or blackmail. During the game you will discover many other ways. A hair of someone picking his head and turn it into a voodoo doll with it, also has hilarious consequences.

It is also recommended at regular intervals to save your game progress. A wrong decision is made quickly and Risen 2 learn especially from your mistakes. The game holds your hand down and you have almost everything themselves unravel. Learning to fight is perhaps the most difficult of this game. Swordplay not really feel natural and work with the camera when you are fighting multiple opponents, you can be hell. There's more, you are very slow moving and therefore very poor can fend off incoming attacks. Too bad, but in this way required Risen 2 you have to fight dirty. Quick pick up a gun in a swordfight, can make a dishonorable victory. Sand in the eyes or throw your parrot in their faces to scratch, the possibilities are wide and more than once hilarious.
